My parents just got an amazingly rad new puppy. I get to hang out with it heaps when I move home in 2 weeks! This is her having a snooze after all the excitement.

After recovering from St Marys, Yardley headed down to Remarks for some Oz Day waves. We were greeted by clean swell, offshore winds, and not a person around. Pumping!!! I love public holidays. And... I swear out of any day of the week, Tuesday has good waves the most often. Queen Yardley took plenty of shots on Trav's camera, I'll put a few up soon.

Party in St Marys

Team Yardley hit the road this weekend for a bit of a random shindig in St Marys. Bands playing at the local pub, big crew camping in the grounds; it was a great time. Too many funny things happened to put them all here, so I'll stick with describing one of the moments. Nearing the end of the night we were all sitting at a table inside when Fee noticed a girl standing by herself looking over it. "I will love you forever if you go up to that girl and say BAAAALLLL BEEEEEHHHGGG in her face." Alright. So i walked up to this girl and gave her my best BALLLL BEEEHHHGG, and she was disgusted. "You f&%in right?" she said. Returning to the table we were all losing it laughing, when Fee noticed that this girl was shooting some serious deathys. So Fee walked up and tried to smooth things over, trying to explain the origin of BAAALLL BEEHHHGG and that it wasnt personal. To which she replied, "Im going to get all my friends to bash your mate" (me). Cool. So five minutes later she returned with a big crew of bogan dudes, pointed to me and said something to them. Then they turned to me, ready to mash. JB was quick on the uptake and went and found Fee who just happened to make friends with the local cops. So just as the bogans were approaching, the cop came between us and blocked them , telling them to chill and stuff. They all then left the pub and we thought everything was cool. Fee then had a look out the front to see a now even bigger crew of bogans yelling "Hey wheres your mate, tell him to step outside". The cop told Fee to get back inside, get your friends, and leave the back way. So she ran back in, grabbed us all, and we snuck out the back door, jumping some fences and laughing up the road to the safety of the camp site.

Best Food Ever

Grilled Salmon with lemon juice, cracked pepper, coriander and fetta cheese. Add Philly Light cheese and Spinach when cooked. Served with steamed carrots, beans and broccoli. All time. thorpman.

Back at Work

Maaaaaaaaan, being back at work hurts. But on a positive note, Queen Yardley is here as well, making it aaaaall ok. Trav survived his mammoth work shift, but was still up at 6am the next day. He must think sleep is over rated. Movie tip of the week: DONT watch Land of the Lost, DO watch The Lost Boys. Classic 80s vampire movie, one of Queen Yardleys old favourites. thorpman

Trav's Birthday

Trav, the party man of yardley, turned a hefty 23 yesterday. Its a tough gig having a birthday on the 2nd of January. The new years festivities are hard to back up at the best of times. What started as a few beers (by his accounts) quickly escalated, or in Travs words "shit got real". After Shots, Little presents, Dark clubs, Gay club, random houses, and sharing a romantic sunset with a taxi driver, our boy still hasnt been to sleep, and is currently, at 8pm the next day, is not even halfway through a 1am closing shift at work. Im expecting a phone call to come pick him up soon. trav knows how to party. thorpman.
